Wet N Wild Color Icon Blush Heather Silk Review, Swatches and FOTD

Hey Everyone!

Wet N Wild Color Icon Blush Heather Silk

I have been obsessed with blushes especially berry pink shades. Today I'll be sharing my thoughts on so called dupe for Nars Mata Hari blush which is Wet N Wild Color Icon Blush in Heather Silk! The blush retails for 2.99$ and contains 4g of product! Can't go wrong with that can you? So if you want to know more about this blush keep on reading!

Wet N Wild Color Icon Blushes come in see through plastic case packaging which is very similar to the Color Icon eye shadow trios. It does feel flimsy and cheap but with the price range I really cannot complain. It also comes with a small angled brush which as you can see I don't use. The bristles of the brush are of average quality and don't feel too harsh on the skin, it definitely makes the blush travel friendly.

The compact has 4 g of product which is huge and will definitely last ages. Also Wet N Wild is cruelty free and does not test on animals. For the price this range definitely is worth checking out!

The shade Heather Silk is lovely berry pink and is completely matte! Does not have any shimmer or glitter in it. I feel its the perfect pick me up shade and can be worn through out the year! Its soft and finely milled in texture and blends effortlessly on cheeks. It will look good on all skin tones especially medium to deeper skin tones. It's highly pigmented so one has to be careful and use light hands to avoid getting way too much of the product on the brush.

I have tried it with and without foundation and it fares pretty well on my combination skin. Without foundation I got about 5 hours of wear after which it faded leaving behind soft pink tinge and with foundation it stays up to 8 hours easily. The shade is marked as a dupe to Nars Mata Hari and even though both of them belong to same color family Mata Hari has more cool under tones whereas Heather Silk has warm pink under tones and both look equally flattering :)

Overall a great blush and I would definitely recommend it to everyone!
